Feels Like January

Today is January 6, 2014 and there is no school due to dangerous wind chills of -50ish below. So, we so far have made banana bread, a science experiment, build a reading fort, and watched some Netflix. There is a late start tomorrow also.  It is rare that I get a snow day when I have to work. I love getting paid to stay home with the girls and that we have the same days off.

This is what happens when you throw boiling water outside in bitter temperatures. Mikayla said, "We made a ghost!"
