July 4th!

My mom was here helping us with a few house projects and got to spend the 4th with us. We let the girls do a few sparklers and then watched our neighbors at the end of the cul de sac shoot off some great fireworks.  The girls caught a few lightning bugs.  We tried to protect ourselves from the mosquitoes with long sleeves, leggings and bug spray, but the girls still got eaten up.  We have had so much rain here in the month of May that I think the mosquitoes are extra bad this year.  Elyana especially seems to react to them.  Both girls ended up with Hydrocordizone cream, Benadryl and ibuprofen to help.  Here a a few photos.

This is my favorite July 4th photo. My mom's puppy, Chloe watched the fireworks for awhile too.
